The Not-So-Intrepid Adventures of Sqrl

Oh hi there.
On the Pink Jeep Scenic Rim Tour
Remember me?

I know things have been pretty quiet around here but that's because I've been off having adventures for the last week. You'll note that I even have a wicked sweet floppy adventurer's hat now. It's also been quiet  because I was sworn to radio silence about my vacation, so that Eric could surprise some of his college friends who were visiting Sedona at the same time.
The view from Cathedral Rock in Sedona, AZ
I went hiking with Eric and learned a couple of important life lessons:
  1. Peeing in the woods is pretty difficult as a lady and the term "pop a squat" makes a lot more sense to me now. I suspect my squatting form has improved.
  2. I don't like climbing up rocks. Or hiking.
The Grand Canyon view from the Watchtower
I saw one of the seven natural wonders of the world. The Grand Canyon is pretty grand. And vast. Really I think it should be called the Vast Canyon, but it doesn't have quite the same ring to it. I was slightly disappointed with my Grand Canyon tour because there were no squirrels, despite the visitor's guide promising me otherwise. Alas.

I took lots and lots of pictures and ate some authentic Mexican food. I got a massage that seems to have help alleviate a significant portion of my piriformis pain.

And now? Well, now it's back to tackle reality feeling just a little more rejuvenated.
