Lowell 1st 10K Training...

...or not. This is the time of the year I normally dial back my training and exercise just by feel. If I feel like doing circuit training, I do circuit training. If I want to run, I run. I think you get the picture. I made it through a single (brutal) interval workout which caused my motivation levels for the 10K training plan to tank. Hard.

I waffled through a week of training, only to realize that I was being ridiculous. 4 weeks isn't exactly enough time to really train for a 10K the way I would normally. So the solution? I tossed the training plan out the door and decided to do whatever I wanted.

And what I wanted to do was some circuit training. I love to strength train now. And I find that pretty funny since I used to hate it. I hunted down my old training log template and gave it a quick update:
That's just the first page, the second page has a couple more things and my cool down. I love this workout, and I look forward to it each time. The pdf version of this document can be found here. I've also got the basic template in a Word document format if anyone is interested in it.
