o hai and happy hump day blog readers!

I decided to work a little later than normal yesterday and then go for a 45 minute run instead of yoga. I forgot to charge my Garmin (rats!) and I certainly don't feel like clicking my route out, so no mileage count.  That's probably for the best because it was a pretty miserable run. I'm still a bit congested and trying to breathe through my nose resulted in me needing to wipe my nose on my singlet with alarming regularity. I felt unbearably slow too, like I was shaking a week's worth of cobwebs off. Oh wait! I was!

It's okay though, one crappy run shouldn't ever stop anyone from running. Just like every day isn't going to be the best day ever, not every run is going to be the best run ever. I think learning how to deal with the not-so-fantastic days has been the biggest part of maintenance. It's actually rather ironic (at least to me) that the pessimistic girl I used to be has some how evolved into a pretty darn optimistic woman.  The power of positive thinking!

I've got a busy, busy day ahead of me and a workout planned for later!
