Mitigation

You would think after such an inspiring Tuesday post, that I'd be making good food decisions with relative ease. Not gorging myself on s'mores and peanut butter. I don't often write about my downs. I prefer to just gloss over them and recover quickly. Sometimes though I can't stop myself from eating too much of something.

Too many s'mores, too many chocolate chips, too much chocolate peanut butter.

These occurrences don't happen that frequently, but sometimes they get me down. That's why I think one of the most important things I've learned about maintenance is how to mitigate the damages that happen in moments of weakness. Perhaps some day it'll get easier...right now I think we'll just have to move onto a more enjoyable topic.

I did the first of my tougher workouts from my training plan today, 3x800m hill repeats. My legs are killing me!
