Ever forget your running shoes for a race?

JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge: Boston

I did! I did!

I was in such a frantic state when I left work yesterday that I grabbed my gym bag and not my shoes which were sitting directly next to my gym bag.

It was okay though because I jogged down to City Sports on Boylston Street and bought a new pair of the exact same model in a different color:

It was also much more windy and cold than I expected it to be and I didn't bring a hat. So I also picked up a set of headbands. One of them was large enough to cover my ears and keep them from freezing off my head. I actually really love them and kind of want to make another pilgrimage to the nearest City Sports to buy more running gear.
YAY! Hair out of face!
The race itself was a mixed bag. I spent more time and energy moving laterally than I did moving forward. I really should've moved further forward in the starting mass, which I'll keep in mind for the future.

And now an update on the plants:
This is definitely going to be the first plant to
produce fruits.

Either the rain or a pest has destroyed my oregano. >:|

Basil = resilient

I'm looking forward to being able to use my
own cilantro when I cook!
