I finally bit the bullet and....
bought the runsqrlrun.com domain. The old blogspot address should redirect to the new .com.  Now I'm just working on making it look a little less lame. I'll have plenty of time to do that this weekend while reading my CSS book.

The standard blogger ones just weren't cutting it for me.

Stormy Massachusetts weather
On my way home yesterday it was pouring and the wind was making the rain go sideways. It got to the point where I thought I would need to park with my car's hatch underneath the awning of the garage and crawl out through the back so as not to get soaked exiting the car. Fortunately (maybe unfortunately as I really wanted to do this), I did not have to result to such shenanigans as the rain let up about the time I got home.

cmoooon, package!
I'm waiting for a big package of goodies from Vitacost. It contains:

  • 5 containers of Arrowhead Mills Creamy Valencia Peanut Butter
  • 5 bags of Arrowhead Mills Oat Groats
  • Woodstock Farms Unsulphured Dried Cherries
  • A can of Amy's Split Pea Soup
  • Miscellaneous Burt's Bees products
Out of the whole package, I want the dried cherries and oat groats the most. I'm planning on making a healthier version of an oatmeal cookie with the cherries and sharing my made-up recipe. That'll have to wait until next Tuesday though. :(

plants!
It's now time for the weekly plant update:
I think I need to consider harvesting some of this cilantro...

Despite being attacked by the singular hungry caterpillar,
this tomato plant is already producing blossoms.
You can see the damage the mean pest caused in the
left-hand side of the picture. He ate an entire stems' worth
of leaves. Jerk.

Look at all that basil! I think I'll harvest a leaf or two
this weekend for my tomato soup.

weekend plans?
Eric and I are thinking about going to the Wrentham Outlets in Wrentham, MA. I'm primarily interested in visiting the Nike outlet in hopes of finding more workout clothes. I'd like to try my luck at the Levi's outlet as well but I did that a couple weeks ago with my mom and it was a total bust.

I'm also planning on heading to the local Ace or Lowe's because our porch is covered in maple seed pods. It's just an ugly mess out there.

What's on everyone else's agenda for this weekend?
