Weekly Friday Weigh-in

Weight: 125.6
BF: 18.4%
Measurements: 34-26-33.5-17.5

Not so bad! I've decided I'm going to start tracking all three sets of vital information about myself on the blog in order to get a better picture of how I'm doing. Weight is only one facet of the maintenance phase, body fat percentage and measurements help me see if I'm doing a good job overall.

To be honest, I had a pretty terrible week foodwise. I ate out way more than I should have, ate too many sweets and I think I might have only gotten a green check one out of seven days. Yikes! I think I need to make a return to Monday goal setting for next week and strive to stay on track.  I know I definitely did not make my protein target very often this week, which isn't good for me right now since I'm training pretty hard.

Speaking of training, I did my speed workout today. Ugh, 11x400m repeats! I don't even have the lap times to log here because my foot pod got really far off.   I finished all 11 and am not too proud to admit that I was totally walking to recover between the laps after about repeat #6.  I did the workout at the track in the direct sunlight at around 4:30. It was way too hot and it made it hard to really do it correctly.  I could bring myself indoors and do these on the treadmill but honestly I'm training to run a race outside, why would I train indoors?  I think that next week I'll wait until the sun is setting to do the 13x400m repeat my training plan has me scheduled to (oh my god, 13? REALLY?) complete.

I'm heading home tomorrow to spend the weekend with my family and I'm pretty excited. I don't think I've been home to NH in ...months? I honestly can't remember the last time I was there.  Perhaps I'll even have some pictures!
